We first met Blake as Bridget in "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants." Now, with four films under her belt and more scripts being sent her way, it looks like she's about to get used to life in the spotlight. This self-confessed nerd (and obvious overachiever!) seems to have it all--a starring role in a hilarious new comedy, a great boyfriend, and plans to start college in New York City this fall. In this CG! exclusive bonus interview she tells us what she thinks about...
On her new movie "Accepted":
It's a comedy but not your stereotypical slapstick kind. The actors were all really smart, quirky, and sarcastic. A lot of them have worked with Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn and Steve Carell, and it was so much fun! During the entire shoot, I was cracking up!
Life in high school:
I was really involved in my school. I was in every club and activity you could possibly be in: I was class president, a cheerleader, in AP classes, and the only person to dress up on Spirit Days. No one had spirit, so I made up for everyone. I miss school. I actually miss writing essays!
Life after high school:
I'm hoping to start college courses this fall. I want to go to NYU, at least for a while. I think it's a really important growing experience to live in New York. Living in a city makes you grow up and learn a lot, and I just think New York is the scariest city to be thrown into--it's like, okay: live. I love New York so much. I can't wait!
Missing her boyfriend:
I was away from L.A. for six weeks filming "Elvis and Anabelle." When my boyfriend and I had to say good-bye, we were like 'oh six weeks, that's no big deal!' That only lasted five days; we've been back and forth seeing each other every week!
You probably remember her as Bridget in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, the movie that made you and your friends cry. But this time around, Blake Lively gets to make you laugh. In her new comedy, Accepted, Blake plays the brainy dream girl of a high school slacker who opens his own college in a run-down hospital after he gets rejected by every single school he applied to. It's a crazy story, but playing the smart girl was easy for Blake--after all, she was planning to go to Stanford University before Hollywood came knocking on her door. "In high school, I took AP classes," she says. "I was a nerd!" (Hmm, maybe she should hang out with Penn Badgley--see page 52.) Anyway, here are some other things you don't know about her:

IF SHE COULD HAVE AN ENDLESS CANDY SUPPLY, SHE'D CHOOSE: "I'm going to be really obscure and say chocolate popcorn from Peterbrooke Chocolatier. It's from Jacksonville, Florida, and it's insane! I have it shipped out in tins to myself."
NUMBER OF DAYS SHE'LL GO WITHOUT SHAVING HER LEGS: "As many as possible--you can grow a fur coat in the winter! It's hard when you have a boyfriend and when you're filming a movie. But it's the worst when you go for a pedicure!"
